Black Lava

Black Lava by Zara is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Black Lava was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Bergamot and Mandarin; middle notes are Pink Pepper and Cedarwood; base notes are Cypriol, Musk and Frankincense. Black Lava by Zara is part of the Final Black collection, a three-fragrance series developed in collaboration with creative director Fabien Baron and perfumer Alberto Morillas. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and mandarin, followed by a heart that contrasts pink pepper with the dry, resinous character of cedarwood. The base brings together earthy cypriol, frankincense and musk, giving the fragrance a smoky, woody and slightly resinous finish. The scent is presented in refillable black glass bottles designed with a minimalist, sculptural aesthetic.
