Black Tide by Zara is a Leather fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Black Tide was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Ambroxan and Orange Blossom; middle notes are Ink, Cetalox and Styrax; base notes are Leather, Musk and Woody Notes. Black Tide by Zara is part of the Final Black trio, a collection developed in collaboration with Baron and perfumer Alberto Morillas. Introduced in 2025, the fragrance is built around an interplay of mineral, inky, and woody-leathery nuances, framed by a soft floral accent. The composition opens with ambroxan and orange blossom, combining a modern ambergris-style effect with a light white-floral touch. An inky accord is joined by styrax and Cetalox in the heart, adding resinous depth and another layer of ambery nuance. The base rests on woody notes, leather, and musk, creating a smooth, darker foundation that supports the more abstract, mineral-ink facets above. The scent is presented in a refillable black glass bottle housed in a minimal acrylic case.
